Dr. Sultana Algin

Dr. Sultana Algin is a veteran, working in the field of Psychiatry for the past 15 years. She has passed her MBBS in the year 1992 from Chittagong Medical college. After her MBBS, she successfully passed her FCPS in the year 2004.

Currently she is associated with the department of psychiatry as an associate professor in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, where she is engaged in teaching psychiatry to the post graduate MD resident students. She also teaches psychiatry, BSC nursing at BSMMU.

Dr. Algin attended multiple conferences and seminars. Some of her notable participation includes WCAP 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand, ECSP 2012 in Geneva Switzerland, KOICA in Korea, IACAPAP in singapore, WPA fellowship in the year 2008 in Egypt.

Dr. Algin was also involved in a research on oral prepentation , which was widely recognized in home and abroad. Her paper was published in Medimond International proceeding in 2013.

Dr. Sultana Algin also conducted and organized free medical treatment camp for poor patients of our society.

Dr. Nafia Farzana Chowdhury

Dr. Nafia Farzana Choudhury is a professional consultant in the field of Psychiatry. She passed her MBBS in 1999 from Sylhet Osmani Medical College. After passing her MBBS, Dr. Nafia continued her study in the field of Psychiatry, and in 2011, she successfully completed MD in psychiatry.

Prior to Joining Samorita Hospital Limited as a consultant, Dr. Nafia Farzana Chowdhury Amassed a work experience of around 12 years. Since 2003, Dr. Nafia has been working in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in the department of psychiatry.

Apart from being a consultant, Dr. Nafia Is also working as a regional contributor for the international association for child and adolescent psychiatry and allied professionals bulletin (IACAPAP).

Dr. Nafia Has also attended in multiple conferences and seminars. In 2010, she attended annual National Conference of Indian Psychiatric Association in Jaipur, in 2011 She attended Neuro Science conference in Calcutta and in 2013, she attended young psychiatric conference in Egypt
