Prof. Dr. Ridhwanul Haq was born in a respectable Muslim family. He is currently serving as a Professor of Marketing at IBA, University of Dhaka. He obtained his Ph.D in Marketing from the University of Western Sydney, Masters from The Australian National University. Prior to that, he completed his MBA and BBA major in Marketing from Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka.
Dr. Ridhwan authored a large number of scholarly publications in well-accredited, peer- reviewed journals published in the country and abroad. Currently, he is supervising a number of students who are doing Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) at IBA. He is well known for his research track record in consumer behavior and service industry management.
Dr. Ridhwan has long track-record on business case development. Currently, he is leading the development of a casebook on Bangladeshi IT & ITES industries as an homage to the 50th Independence of Bangladesh. During his career, Dr. Ridhwan has been a freelance consultant and advisor to many prominent companies in the areas of market development. He presented numerous seminars on contemporary issues in marketing different countries around the world. Moreover, he has actively engaged himself as a corporate trainer in local and multinational organizations. Dr. Ridhwan also served as a visiting professor at Taylors University, Malaysia. Dr. Ridhwan is a true follower of classical music and theatre. He has active involvement in social entrepreneurship along with his professional engagement.
